How is a silk veil different from tradition tulle?

Our veils are made using several different materials. Our favorite is made from silk. As you can see in the photos, the silk veil creates a more ethereal look. More light is able to shine through. Silk veils are super soft, super drapey, and super luxe. True silk veils drape close to the body. Kate Middleton is a great example as she wore a custom silk veil in the royal wedding.

How is our Serene veil different from traditional tulle?

Our Serene veil is made of a non-traditional veil fabric. The fabric is light and airy, creating more of an opaque finish in photos. It falls beautifully.

How long do orders take to arrive?
Production time takes on average 3-5 weeks, depending on the season (May-July can take up to 5 weeks after order). Once your order is complete, packed, and shipped, you will receive an email confirming shipment. A tracking number will also be sent to you. Once shipped, international orders can take anywhere from 5 days to 3 weeks. Please allow plenty of time.

How are items shipped?
All products are shipped via tracked Royal Mail.
Any customs or duty fees that may occur by International customers are not paid by Lady Evelyn.

I need an order rushed, what do I do?
Rush orders are available on most items for an additional fee. Please contact us immediately when you know what you would like to purchase.

I have seen a piece you made that I really like. Can I order the exact piece?
Headdresses, Veils & Gowns that are featured in the press are usually sold quickly. If the item is no longer available Lady Evelyn will do their best to recreate the piece.
As with all of our items, they are handmade in Yorkshire, England. There will be slight differences. However, we do strive for perfection and apply strong attention to detail.
